In an effort to broaden their consumer offering Sport Check has just opened their first location dedicated specifically to kids. Our friends at Retail-Insider are reporting that this concept could be rolled out nationally if it proves to be successful.
The new store will be located at Vaughan Mills in the GTA and according to Retail-Insider the new store will span approximately 6,930 square feet. The store will cater to children from infant all the way up to 14, with a goal of creating a one-stop shopping experience for families with active kids.
The store is almost exclusively geared towards kids and will feature lowered try-on benches, kid mannequins and a focus on youth-oriented design. The store is designed in a way that focuses on the activity the children are pursuing. It’s divided into hockey, basketball, running, swimming and a plethora of other activities.
The new store will feature the largest selection of kids footwear and apparel across the entire Sport Chek store network.
If you’re looking for a one-stop shopping experience for your kids, it’s a good bet Sports Chek will have you covered.
