Make each day a little easier by tweaking little things, it can make your life much more care-free. Here are 10 tips to make your every-day more productive:
1. Stop Multitasking
Instead of doing many things at half-effort, concentrate on your most important tasks, focus on one thing at a time. Make sure you finish what you’ve started.
2. Write Lists
Help organize yourself by writing to-do lists, weekly goals, checklists, etc.
3. Hide Your Phone
Interruptions are multi-tasking in disguise. It’s so distracting with our phones going off constantly, so why not leave it in your bag or put it on airplane-mode to avoid any disruptions.
4. Download a Self Control App
There is even an app to help you out where you can block your own access to websites or mail servers for a pre-set length of time.
5. Take Breaks
Taking a break is extremely important for your mental health and work productivity. Go grab a coffee or take a short walk.
6. Exercise
Exercise is good for your mental health and is proven to increase endorphins in your body which make you happier. The happier you are, the more productive you can be!
7. Get Rid Of The Worst Tasks First
Make sure you finish tasks to closure before starting the next one, otherwise you’ll drag it out way longer than necessary.
8. Keep Your Desk Organized
Clear your desk of everything but the task you intend to work on, it’ll make you feel like a new person. Extra clutter will stress you out.
9. Make Weekly Goals
Try to create two to four goals a week – they can be tiny or big, but pick out the most important and try to stick with them.
10. Plan Your Monday On Friday
Go through your calendar for the next week and try to accomplish a few tasks so when you arrive on Monday you’ll have less to do. It’ll make you feel more prepared for the week.
