The best business ideas are the ones that tackle issues people face in everyday life. And that’s exactly where Tori Lord got the idea for her business, Top Knot.
Top Knot solves a very real problem that a lot of active women face: wanting to wear a hat, but also wanting to wear their hair up. While some hats already have openings at the back, oftentimes, they only accommodate low ponytails. While the problem seems simple, Tori wasn’t able to find a solution on the market at the time, which led her to create her own line of hats in 2016.
Today the line features hats made for both fashion and function. Magnetic strips in the back keep your ponytail secure in the baseball cap, and you’re able to wear your hair as high or low as you’d like with ease.
