Are you an east ender? Or just a Good Neighbour?
Aziz Alam, owner of the infamous east end general store, Good Neighbour was both. A vet in the retail industry, Aziz saw an opportunity on Queen St. East in Toronto, that prompted his grand opening in 2014.
Residing in the east side of the city, the lack of shops that stocked Toronto’s favourite brands was very evident. Although Leslieville had a large and growing community of stylish Torontonian’s, they would have to head over to the west end of Toronto for their shopping needs.
Alam filled that void by bringing Toronto’s favourite brands from the west end to his shop on Queen St. East. Not only does he focus on Toronto’s favourite labels, but also demonstrates support when it comes to up-and-coming Canadian brands.
Good Neighbour is always on the lookout for trendy new pieces to bring to stylish east end dwellers.
First and foremost, the inventory carried in Good Neighbour will blow you away.
The shop has a wide selection of apparel for men, women, and children, footwear, accessories, housewares, bath & body, games, and even potions and magic beans – how fun!
Furthermore, these curators of fashion carry beloved designers such as: Adidas, Aigle, Baxter of California, Chronicle, Citizens of Humanity, Hershel, Levi’s, Mother Denim, New Balance, Nike, No Nationality 07, Nudie, Red Wing, Richer Poorer, Sunnylife, Velvet, and so many more of your favourites.
In addition, they carry a personal favourite skincare line of mine – bkind! Not only is it a Canadian brand – Montreal based, it is a natural non-toxic, vegan, plant-based skincare line.
Feel at home in this cozy and welcoming shop that truly takes into consideration the needs and wants of not only their neighbourhood, but the entire community.
Head over to the eclectic east end and check out Good Neighbour or shop online for their unbeatable selection!
