Our fave addition is the Chocolate Cream Cold Brew—finally, a chocolate lover’s dream come true.

This delicious beverage features Starbucks® Cold Brew sweetened with vanilla syrup and topped with a silky chocolate cream cold foam. The perfect mix of sweet to add to our coffee.

Rosalyn Batingan, part of the Starbucks beverage development team, spoke on the inspiration for the drink, “The classic combination of coffee and chocolate is reminiscent of a chocolate milkshake or that last bit of melted chocolate ice cream on a warm summer day to recreate the sweet, creamy flavour of summers past.”

Of course, we can’t forget about the food part of the menu.

The Bacon Sausage and Egg Wrap as well as the Southwest Potato, Black Bean and Egg Wrap will be joining the permanent menu for the season.

If you’re not in the mood for a wrap, you can browse the sandwich selection which includes the Chicken Caprese on Ciabatta, Chicken & Bacon on Brioche, Tomato & Mozzarella on Focaccia, Turkey, Provolone & Pesto on Ciabatta, and the Crispy Grilled Cheese on Sourdough.

Want to finish off your Starbucks order with a dessert? Try out the new Ice Cream Cone Sugar Cookie. We get excited for summer just by looking at it!

As Canada’s 150th anniversary looms close, everyone is planning how to spend the big day. Whether you are planning on hitting up a patio, having a massive bbq or just getting together with friends it’s very likely that your activities will include a couple of libations.  Which is why news that LCBO staff may go on strike days before Canada day is stressing out many Ontarians.

CTV News is reporting that Workers at the Liquor Control Board of Ontario could go on strike just days before the Canda Day long weekend.

According to CTV News, The Ontario Public Service Employees Union requested a “no board” report which has set a strike deadline of 12:01 on June 26, 2017 .

The LCBO says it’s hopeful a negotiated collective agreement will occur but if not it will have to look at contingency plans.

What does a plan b look like? We aren’t 100% sure but if not planned properly, it could see temporary closures until the problem if solved.

Again According to CTV news, the LCBO believes the Unio picked this time strategically to put more pressure on a decision.

Considering Canada Day long weekend is one of the busiest times at the LCBO we think it’s unlikely that consumers won’t be able to shop for booze leading up to the big day.

Ever wanted to make fresh booze at home?  Beverage brewing system manufacturers Keurig have announced that they will be teaming up with Anheuser-Busch InBev, the brewers behind big names like Budweiser, Corona and Stella Artois to create an “In-home booze maker.”  Inside sources from the company have yet to reveal how the system will actually work but expect a system that can brew cold beer and make spirits, cocktails and mixers.  While many people purchased the Keurig for coffee, colloquial conversations reveal that many people don’t keep up with regular use of the devices. It will be interesting to see if the “In-home booze maker” is popular and more than just a gimmick.

Would you buy a system that could make booze in your house? Let us know in the comments below.
