Though the brand is based in China, its business and products are marketed to consumers as Korean. The brands website says, “MUMUSO is a Korean brand with the focus on fashion. Its products are manufactured in China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and so on, providing clients with a wide range of fine goods to choose from.”
Consumers can expect to shop items like children’s products, apparel, accessories, kitchen items, bags, stationery, skincare, and cosmetic goods.

The brand already has two locations in British Colombia and is super popular in Asia with intentions of opening more than 300 locations in India by the year 2020.
With all the similarities, only time will tell how this new addition to Toronto’s retail scene will perform.

Thrift shopping isn’t for everyone. Second-hand clothing often means weird smells and rooting through racks and racks to find a gem. But what if we told you that at one Toronto thrift shop everything in-store is a gem?
Just Thrift is not your average thrift shop; it’s a massive designer haven located at 53 Orfus Rd. in Toronto. The space stands at 10,000 square feet and is full of apparel, footwear and accessories for the entire family, carefully curated with designer and top name brands. Their selection is refreshed daily and features labels like Tod’s, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Celine, Alexander Wang, Kate Spade, and Prada, to name a few, all for a fraction of the retail price tags, marked down 50-90%.
*Editor’s Note: an earlier version of this article stated that Just Thrift buys clothing from the public every Monday and Tuesday. For the rest of this season, the store is being very selective of what they are purchasing. They are making exceptions for special luxury items for their Showcase, but will not be purchasing in high volumes. It’s best to call ahead if you’re looking to sell your clothing.
Take a peek at some of the things they have offered right in-store:
