Lots of Toronto attractions have thankfully started to reopen so if you were concerned your summer would be on the duller side, then you’re sadly mistaken. It was announced last month that the CN Tower is reopening to the public on July 15 after being closed since March. If this was the summer you wanted to cross the EdgeWalk off your bucket list, then keep on reading because the attraction is reopening as well.

The CN Tower’s EdgeWalk is reopening as of August 1 but don’t worry, new safety measures will be put into place.

The attraction’s website reads, “Our first priority is the health and safety of our staff and guests, and we are committed to meeting or exceeding public health guidelines to provide a safe and positive experience for everyone.”

Walks will be limited to three guests at a time but you may walk in a larger group if all participants live in the same household. Temperature checks, mandatory face coverings, and increased cleaning will be taking place. Each guest walk suit will also be laundered and fully disinfected after each use.

All staff will be required to wear personal protective equipment like masks, gloves, and face shields and will follow rigorous cleaning protocols throughout the day.

In addition, sanitizing stations will be available for staff and guests and plexiglass screens have been installed.
