10 Toronto Stores to Get Seriously Cool AF Outfits

If you’re looking to step up your style game, Toronto has got the goods!

There’s no shortage of unique stores and street style in the 6ix, and I’m going to tell you just where to get it. Whether you’re ISO contemporary styles, unheard of labels, or Toronto-made brands, look no further! The city will serve you up plenty of fresh looks if you know where to go.

Take a look at 10 Toronto stores to get seriously cool AF outfits (and start snapping for the gram)…

TSOQ: The Store on Queen

662 Queen St W

If you have ever seen two scantily clad women, taking photos on the Queen West in the dead of winter, then you’ve witnessed the magic that is the co-owners of TSOQ. The womenswear store is packed to the brim with flowy tops, trendy bottoms, and lust-worthy dresses from a number of coveted labels like For Love and Lemons, One Teaspoon, and more. In summary, the merchandise is just as eye-catching and unapologetic as the ladies who own it!

VSP Consignment

1410 Dundas St W

VSP Consignment is haven for anyone who is looking for some new designer duds. They have some seriously sought-after high-end runway labels for a fraction of the price. Think Balmain, Helmut Lang, Tom Ford, and Valentino, just to name a few. This consignment store is the perfect shop when you’re planning on dropping some cash on a statement piece or classic wardrobe staples like a jacket, pair of shoes or purse.

This menswear store has all the contemporary brands a guy could ever ask for (or girl, because some ladies like menswear too!) Pop by and pick up some new threads from brands like Adidas, Filson, Fred Perry, and more, and you’ll be a street style aficionado overnight. With a longstanding reputation of being the purveyors of personal style since 1991, this shop won’t let you down.

M Boutique

294 Queen St W

M Boutique is like one stop shop for everything that’s trending in women’s fashion right now. Bra tops? They got those. Bike shorts? Yup. Fun summer dresses and jumpsuits? Obviously. The best thing about this Canadian retailer, is also the fact that their prices are reasonable, not to mention most of the labels they carry are from LA. You’ll be amazed by how complete outfits you’ll be able to throw together, in one shopping trip alone.

ACE/FIVE

988 Queen St W

This Queen West shop may be small, but it is mighty. The store specializes in contemporary labels and graffiti-like prints that are bound to catch more than a few eyes. Once again, their clothing might technically be for the boys, but that doesn’t mean the ladies won’t look rad in it too. Oversized tees and bike shorts are quite popular this summer, just ask Kim Kardashian.

Fashionably Yours

709 Queen St W

Fashionably Yours is another amazing consignment shop if you’re looking to find designer clothing for less. Similar to VSP, you know you’re getting one-of-a-kind here, as their product offering is never the same and always changes. You’re definitely going to get some cool AF outfit pieces here, and they usually have a drool-worthy collection of designer bags – I’ve seen Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent.

CNTRBND

CNTRBND is the place to go if you’re obsessed with high-end street labels; they have a whole range of brands like Alexander Wang, Raf Simons, and Off-White. While they may specialize in relaxed clothing like sweaters, tees, and track pants, their offering is anything but basic. And along with the better-known brands, they also have a bunch of entry-level names that will have people asking, “who are you wearing?”

Evernew

CF Toronto Eaton Centre

You may not know, but besides glorious sandy beaches, and the ocean, the Aussies also have some amazing contemporary women’s labels. The style is on point down under; just take a look at Evernew, and you’ll see what I mean. This brand has a ton of gorgy, summery tops and dresses so you can live your life like it’s always hot (winter what’s that?). I’m only buying flowy, summer things from here on out.

Hayley Elsaessar

695 Queen St W

Is your style loud and proud? Then Toronto-based designer Hayley Elsaesser will be right up your alley. The Queen West shop has no shortage of funky prints and bold pieces with a design element that is reminiscent of colourful pop art. Just about everything in this store is patterned and doused in more than one bright hue. It’s definitely not a shop for the faint of heart; this stuff is bright and unique, to say the least.

Gravity Pope

1010 Queen St W

Surprise, surprise! Another seriously cool AF store on Queen West. It’s no wonder the strip was named Toronto’s most unique and stylish shopping destination… Add Gravity Pope to the list and you have yet another contemporary men and womenswear store that will peak your interest. I also might add that the entire first floor of the store is dedicated to shoes while the upstairs has just as equally urban and cool clothing – sounds like heaven right?
