It’s time to get comfy and bunker down – Holidays are here and the forecast calls for cloud and snow. It also calls for food comas and cozy pajamas, maybe a nightcap or two and definitely some good old Netflix. From beloved classics, to unconventional stories, there’s something for everyone this year. Check out 11 of the best Holiday movies to binge watch on Netflix.

Office Christmas Party

Starring Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston, Office Christmas Party takes the celebrations to a whole new level. Your own work party will pale in comparison! In an effort to impress a client, these coworkers host an epic Christmas party that goes entirely out of control.

El Camino Christmas

If you’re a fan of Netflix originals, then you should definitely give El Camino Christmas a shot. The film has a rather unconventional take on Christmas as it centres around a group of individuals who get barricaded inside a liquor store on Christmas Eve. One of them may be in trouble with the law.

Love Actually

Featuring an all-star cast of Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson and more, Love Actually asserted itself as a new age Holiday classic in the early 2000’s. Nine intertwined stories explore the power of love over the Holidays in this Christmas-themed romcom.

The Night Before

While we’re all familiar with the children’s story, “The Night Before Christmas,” Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have a different version. The funny duo goes on a mission to find a secretive, invite-only Christmas Eve party, so you can be sure it’s filled with booze, weed and ridiculousness.

Elf

Will Ferrell will forever be emblazoned as Elf over the Christmas season. The Holiday classic takes the actor’s signature funny style, and fashions it into a festive story as a human who grew up with Santa and his elves go on a mission to find his biological father.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

We can’t think of a better person to play Dr. Seuss’ Grinch than Jim Carrey. The Christmas classic comes to life in the remake following the same storyline, but with a few new twists thrown in.

The Holiday

The Holiday is the perfect flick for those looking to satisfy their need for romance over the Holidays. Whether you’re in a relationship or not, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet will melt any icey heart as the women swap homes over Christmas, inevitably falling in love with locals (Jack Black and Jude Law).

Four Christmases

Four Christmases is another funny movie to watch over the Holidays as the fictional couple, Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon, visit their separate families for Christmas. If you thought your own family was dysfunctional, think again. The film redefines the words “crazy relatives.”

A Very Murray Christmas

The musical comedy features Bill Murray stranded in a restaurant due to a snow storm, thinking no one will show up to his Christmas special. Cameos include George Clooney, Paul Shaffer, Amy Poehler, Julie White, Dimitri Dimitrov, Michael Cera, Chris Rock and more. The special doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but overall the songs are wonderful!

Just Friends

This Christmas rom-com might be on of the funniest flicks out there. Centering around a self-centered Ryan Reynolds, the film watches the previously fat, loser (who is now rich, skinny and handsome) try to woo an old hometown fling in all the wrong ways. Let’s try to remember those good old Holiday values.

Arthur Christmas

If you’re a fan of animated flicks, then Arthur Christmas should be on your list. The creative drama is set in the North Pole where beneath the ground Santa has a high tech operation. But horror strikes when one child is forgotten to be given a gift. This is where Arthur, Santa’s son comes in.
