Six God Drake’s retail concept October’s Very Own (OVO) will be opening a location at Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre this summer! This is OVO’s second store in the GTA and the fourth store globally.
The brand, popular for its obvious associations with Drake and for its street appeal, has secured a loyal following of shoppers at their current Toronto store located at 899 Dundas Street West in Toronto.
The new store in Yorkdale is a big move for the brand, as it will force OVO’s retail operation to come up with a service level that is focused on the typical Yorkdale shopper (who is significantly different from the average Dundas West shopper).
The new store already has its branding up indicating where the OVO space will be at Yorkdale. The new store will be featured in Yorkdale’s newest wing anchored by Nordstrom and will be sandwiched between the Strellson and Oak + Fort store. Expect the OVO store at Yorkdale to be opened in summer 2017.
