Located at 287 Coxwell Ave., Classic Juice Co. is a juice bar that's inspired by the Jamaican Rastafarian Ital lifestyle. The idea for the shop was born when owner, Tamara Shelly, was searching for natural medicines to treat her own PCOS.
During her research, Shelly became familiar with the practice of ancient Chinese medicine and the principle that health begins in the stomach. This caused her to pay more attention to the food she consumed and how she was consuming it.
After buying her first juicer and discovering the positive effects it had on her health, she quickly began spreading the message.
Shelly began juicing for family members who struggled with injury and wanted to spread the health benefits of juicing to others, too. Today, the company's goal is to help feel good from the inside out and to be a trusted brand for those who practice self-love with intention.

All of the juices sold in-store are handcrafted in small batches. Using a cold-press extraction method, all of the nutrients from the fresh ingredients used are able to stay intact.
On the menu, which is updated regularly on Instagram, you'll find a rotating selection using seasonal flavours to maximize the freshness of the fruits and veggies. You can shop reasonably priced single flavours, tonic blends, moss blends, immunity shots, and elixirs. Each juice is expertly combined for the perfect sip, like the Mango, Beet, Kiwi, and Lime Elixir or the Jamaica Sorrel (Hibiscus) Tonic.
On top of fresh cold-pressed juices, there are also made-to-order smoothies, patties, wraps, and kale chips on the menu.
