Fresh City Farms was founded in 2011 by former Wall Street lawyer Ran Goel. The award-winning company surprisingly started as an online store. Quickly winning the hearts of Torontonians, they decided to open their first brick-and-mortar location in April 2018 and their second, later that year.

Walking through their grocery store will have you question why you didn’t shop with them sooner.

This local grocer has a greenhouse that is fully self-reliant and off-grid which provides a variety of the produce that you see in their aisles. Keep an eye out for the Fresh City Farms name on the label – what they grow in-house! There's always been a focus on providing options that include organic, plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, and GMO-free while sourcing locally.

Fresh City Farms offers a large selection of product bags, recipes, meal kits, meal jars, meat, bread, pastries, and basic groceries needs, plus you can get it delivered right to your door.

Bonus if you are ordering online, all products are clearly labelled with certifications, diet features, and whether its local – they really keep you grocery educated.

A Fan favourite Is Fresh City Farms' meal jars.

These jars have everything you could ever want for a healthy, organic meal. Plus, it's sold in an environmentally friendly way – a reusable and returnable jar.

Acquiring both Mabel’s and The Healthy Butcher in 2019, Fresh City Farms has really made a name for themselves within the community. Who wouldn’t be proud to support their local farmers and businesses?
