2019 saw no shortages of fashion trends. While some were questionable, others were made popular with the help of celebrities or took off completely on their own. But which trends outranked them all?

At the end of last year, marketing analytics software brand and trends data provider SEMRUSH released a report that tracked what the top Google searches were across 140 countries. Through this data, they were able to determine exactly what the most sought after styles of the year were.

Take a peek at the top 10 fashion searches from 2019 below and take note — we wouldn’t be surprised if many of these trends carried into 2020.

Oversized Sweaters

Oversized sweaters are the epitome of comfort, so we’re not surprised that it was the number one searched fashion item of 2019. The trend saw a 400% increase in searches over the last year and we don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon.
