Clear and sunny skies are forecasted for this weekend in Toronto, and with the dog days of summer quickly coming to an end, it’s best to take advantage of the final days of freedom.
This weekend, the city is alive and full of vibrant events to check out, including FIGMENT Toronto, a free and interactive art festival. Returning for its 5th year on Saturday, August 19 from 10am to 8pm, the all-ages event will take place at Dufferin Grove Park.
Visitors can expect over 25 interactive installations, as well as the opportunity to meet and greet with the artists behind them. With a goal of bringing art to communities, you can rest assured this event will be interesting, unique and fun for the entire family.
Some things visitors can look forward to are having their tarot cards read, a “Style your Hat” DIY project, live DJs, and an interactive maze with Under the Sea vibes created by Grade 6 students from Hawthorne II Bilingual Alternative School. See a full line-up of events and installations here.
