Even though most of The CF Toronto Eaton Centre is closed due to COVID-19, the mall had started to reopen some stores that have a street entrance. However, the mall will be closed starting Friday, June 5 until the 8th due to potential riots happening in Toronto.

Due to the number of ‘large gatherings’ that are planned, The Eaton Centre as well as stores and malls across the city will be boarded up to protect from potential looting and riots.

Even though a peaceful protest took place last weekend in Toronto, we’re seeing lots of retailers like Nordstrom Rack, Best Buy, Staples, as well as high-end stores on Bloor Street boarding up their windows.

In regard to the TTC entrances that are accessible through the mall, the TTC has confirmed that entrances to Queen and Dundas stations from the mall will also be closed.
