Wellness is one of the top trends of the year and even though #SelfCare is important, it seems that the term wellness, in general, has a weird connotation attached to it. Let’s be clear – wellness, like other trends and fads, can be taken to the extreme but in small doses, wellness practices and/or products can literally turn your whole day around. In a city as big as Toronto, finding wellness spaces and various goodies is easy if you know what to look for and where.

If you’re in search for a few new wellness products that aren’t total BS, then this is the list for you. As an editor, I’ve seen a lot of wellness items that promise a whole world of relaxation but end up being complicated, annoying, and a total waste of money. It’s products like that that ruin wellness’ rep, ya know? One thing I’ve learnt is that it’s important to keep in mind where you’re shopping for these wellness products. Don’t get me wrong — I’m all for a good bargain — but I’d rather pay more for a quality item that actually lasts and works over a cheapie jade roller that breaks after one use.

Here are 6 wellness products that are worth the money and aren’t total BS!
